Meet Sam 🦷✨ We’re delighted to introduce Sam, our Practice Manager at Oakwood Dental Practice. 💙 Sam has been a dedicated dental nurse since 2008, bringing years of experience, knowledge, and a genuine passion for patient care to our team. Alongside her dental nursing qualifications, Sam has specialised in Sedation Dental Nursing and is a proud member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD). Having recently moved into a management role, Sam works closely with Grethe and Hennie to support the smooth running of the practice, while still enjoying regular clinical work to stay connected with our patients and the team. Sam has completed a Level 4 qualification in Dental Practice Management and is currently studying towards a BA (Hons) in Business and Leadership and Management, with the goal of becoming a Chartered Manager with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Passionate about combining clinical experience with strong leadership, Sam is dedicated to continually improving the patient experience and helping Oakwood grow. Meet Kim 🦷✨ We’re delighted to introduce Kim, one of our caring and dedicated Dental Hygienists at Oakwood Dental Practice. 💙 Kim began her dental journey as a dental nurse in 2018 before graduating from the University of Portsmouth in 2023 as a Dental Hygienist. With experience working in practices across Cheshire and the South Coast, she brings a calm, gentle approach to every appointment and loves helping patients feel more confident about their smiles. Kim is passionate about educating patients on the important connection between oral health and overall wellbeing. She believes in making dental care feel relaxed and approachable, supporting patients with practical advice and small, achievable changes that can make a big difference. Outside of the practice, Kim enjoys spending time outdoors, walking along the beach with her Golden Retriever, Kobe, and staying active at the gym.
